Barrington Software Recipe Magician Captures Recipes from Newspapers, Magazines, Directly from the Internet

BARRINGTON, ILLINOIS – November 6, 2002 – The newly released Recipe Magician is able to easily capture recipes from any text file and includes a web browser that allows screen capture directly from the Internet.  Recipes in a text file can result from magazine or newspaper scans, or from a personal or family collection.  The Recipe Magician works by having a person specify what part of a recipe selected text goes to.  Any size list of ingredients can be selected and the Recipe Magician captures each ingredient and puts the quantity, unit of measure, and ingredient name in a standard and recognizable format.  When selection of all of the parts of a recipe is complete, it is captured for import into CookenPro® 3.0.
